CENTURIONBOATS

Competition-grade towboats photographed with power, precision, and wake.

(01) / Overview

Centurion builds competition-grade wakes. The imagery had to feel as engineered as the hull: bold, fast, and unmistakably premium.

I photographed the fleet across water and shoreline, chasing the moment where spray, light, and line read as pure performance.

Every frame was built to sell the craft of the boat and the culture around it, without losing the editorial restraint that keeps luxury brands credible.

Concept

Power in motion

The visual language leaned into contrast: dark hulls against bright sky, sharp wake geometry against calm horizon, detail against scale.

I treated each boat as a sculptural subject, letting form, chrome, and water do the storytelling.

Process

From brief to frame

A straight photography pipeline: brief, shoot, select, retouch, deliver. Speed on set, discipline in post.

  1. 01

    Brief

    Art Direction

I mapped the brand against the water: how Centurion should feel at rest, at speed, and in the detail shots dealers lean on.

  2. 02

    Production

    Sony A7IV

On the lake with Sony A7IV and Sigma glass. I chased spray, wake geometry, and the moment the hull reads as pure performance.

  3. 03

    Curation

    Editorial Selection

A long day on the water produces thousands of frames. I kept the ones where line, light, and motion all agree.

  4. 04

    Delivery

    Adobe Suite

Retouch and export for web, dealer decks, and print with consistent colour and crop variants across the fleet.
